'Supercar' (1961) was not Gerry Anderson's first marionette series, but it was the first to break into the American market. Anderson followed up with a string of similar shows before graduating to live-action films and series. The 'Supercar' theme was composed by Barry Gray and performed by Mike Sammes. For the show's second series it was sung by the Mike Sammes quintet ('2 girls, 3 boys').
