This 1964 series was part of an early attempt by NBC to program a TGIF-style block of sitcoms. 'Karen' shared its timeslot with 'Tom, Dick, and Mary' and 'Harris Against the World'. The umbrella title ('90 Bristol Court') was the apartment complex where all three shows took place (the initials also conveniently spelled out N-B-C). Debbie Watson played Karen, a 60s teenager with typical tv teenager complications. Her show outlasted the other two; when it ended Debbie moved on to another single-season sitcom ('Tammy'). 'Karen' is remembered for the Jack Marshall-Bob Moser theme, performed by The Beach Boys (TV Guide said the song was the show's only redeeming feature).
