So there are these three swindlers sitting in prison, and they can get out on parole. But there's a catch: they have to work for the FBI using their con-artist skills to trap bad guys. 'Players' (1997) is a little bit 'Mission: Impossible', a little bit 'Switch', and maybe even a little bit 'McCoy' (not everybody remembers that one). Ice-T, Costas Mandylor, and a hip 90s theme from Mike Post ('The A-Team') gave the 'conning the cons' premise a contemporary update. Created by Ice, Dick Wolf, Shaun Cassidy et al, it lasted 18 episodes.
