Sin began with Adam following Eve in disobeying God. His sin locked mankind into the slavery of that sin. The American experiment seems to purposely help reinforce this slavery by making it practically illegal for the husband/man to rule his home like he ought to. Our system refuses to allow him to claim the authority of God in running his home. On the contrary in America the authority in the home basically comes from the consent of the wife. This makes it near impossible for the man to have his children in subjection with all gravity as the Bible requires. Detroit was supposed to be a model city but just the opposite happened. The only way South Bend or any such city in America can avoid the fate of cities like Detroit is by preventing the city from going the way of Adam following Eve's deceptions and thereby plunging the city into more and more sin and destruction.
