Cape Maeda is one of Okinawas predominant tourist sites due to the ruggedness and appeal of this natural space. Its coastline also happens to house some of the best SCUBA diving sites in the Southern confines of the island. Join me as I take to the peaks of the volcanic surroundings in my search for a vantage point to shoot the rugged coastline at Sunset. An absolute necessity in this terrain is the use of felt bottomed or decent hill walking boots. The volcanic shards of rock can be brutal, not to mention incredibly dangerous, for any other type of footwear.
