Returning from a trip to Southern California, my brother and I stopped for lunch in Tehachapi and a visit to the Tehachapi Depot Railroad Museum. While perusing the exhibits, the cry went up from the assembled Saturday railfans that a train was approaching. I grabbed my video camera and stepped out on the deck to catch a southbound BNSF manifest accelerating past the depot. The motive power was quite diverse with an ES44C4 on the point followed by a C44-9W, an ES44DC, another C44-9W, and two senior citizens - a GP25 in Santa Fe blue and yellow and an SD40-2. The 60 cars were helped over the road by two C44-9W helpers on the rear.
