My submission for the Hardware Jams “Tick Tock” Weekend Challenge.
Make a jam from scratch! I decided to try and patch-from-scratch too in this jam! I kept things very simple and patched some brown noise as a wave sound, a kick drum, and a dual triangle wave base. I then improvised some kalimba over the top of this bed (as it was feeling neglected from the last challenge). I hope amongst all the panic this challenge causes this jam will bring a moment of peace to you all 🫶

A jam from scratch!
You can have sounds and drum kits loaded, but you must make a jam from scratch.
(No arps going before it starts 👀😉😂)
This is an exercise to see how well you know your kit, and get out of a pickle in a live jam!
Pick your kit wisely not too much or too little?

So test yourself....this is a test to see if in a live environment you could get out or into a jam!

I'm a strong believer in continuous improvement and always trying to learn something new. While creating this video I attempted speed patching and improvisation. Normally I take a lot more prep time and planning for my jams!
My DIY Synth Rules

I aim to meet the following criteria when adding modules to my synth:
◦ I must have constructed it.
This can be a kit or from scratch but I must have soldered it
◦ The audio signal path should be analog.
I'm trying to avoid digital modules so I can learn more about analog electronics
◦ Learn something new
Try to learn something while constructing the module. Learn about the circuits, experiment with different signal processing options. Be creative.
◦ Have fun
