Вчера (05.06.2026) се проведоха кратки изпитания с новите мотрисни влакове Шкода 18Ев РегиоПантер край София. Пробите - най-вероятно скоростно-спирачни, бяха извършени с 2 мотриси - 34 005 и 34 007 между гарите Илиянци и Курило, като в продължение на около час се правиха множество тръгвания и спирания, след което поетапно мотрисите се прибраха в гара Илиянци, където дизелов локомотив 55 123 на Експрес Сервиз ги пое към депо. Предполага се че в най-скоро време мотрисите ще бъдат въведени официално в експлоатация.
Припомням че общо 25 мотрисни влака от този тип ще бъдат доставени до края на тази година от Шкода, закупени по Плана за възстановяване и устойчивост (ПВУ), като част от тях ще бъдат предоставени и на частния превозвач Юнион Ивкони.

On June 5, 2026, a series of test runs with the new Škoda 18Ev RegioPanter electric multiple units took place on the railway line north of Sofia, Bulgaria.
The tests, believed to have been focused on acceleration and braking performance, involved two trainsets – 34 005 and 34 007 – operating between Iliyantsi and Kurilo stations. During approximately one hour of testing, the trains performed numerous starts and stops. After the completion of the tests, both units returned to Iliyantsi station, where they were coupled to Express Service diesel locomotive 55 123 and transferred to the depot.
The introduction of the new RegioPanter fleet into regular passenger service is expected in the near future, marking an important step in the modernization of Bulgarian rail transport.
A total of 25 Škoda RegioPanter EMUs are scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2026. While most of the fleet will operate for BDŽ (Bulgarian State Railways), several units are also expected to be used by the private operator Union Ivkoni.
