Atelier Yumia has received the Version 1.6.1 update on Nintendo Switch 2, aimed at addressing the performance issues the game launched with, and this video tests the frame rate across all four available performance modes using a custom frame rate analysis tool.
Tested on Nintendo Switch 2.
The update splits performance across two options. Performance Settings offers Prioritize Graphics and Prioritize Performance, while Operation Mode offers Quality and Performance, giving four combinations in total.
The results show a meaningful improvement over launch. Prioritize Graphics is capped at 30fps in both Operation Modes. Prioritize Performance in Quality Mode sits at around 40fps without activating the Nintendo Switch 2's 120hz mode, while Prioritize Performance in Performance Mode hits 60fps most of the time, a significant step up from the frame rate struggles the game had at launch across both its original modes.
