Venom 2 is the climactic finale of the hard route through Star Fox, reached only by working through the demanding alternate path across Sector Y, Aquas, Zoness, Sector Z and Area 6. As the harder approach to Andross's home planet of Venom, this route leads to the true final confrontation, a tougher and more rewarding ending than the standard Venom path that many players take.
