Got a bunch of these I need to finish up and this is just one I had laying around I started messing with. I feel like I usually end up with the easiest path to good tuning when having the coils decently coupled. It's not necessary or anything but just seems easier to me. This one is nothing special but I happened to get pretty decent ZCS tuning on it up to about 30V and it still runs pretty good up to 40V or so before even trying to develop any heating. I also found I could attach (without coupling) another coil tuned to the LC with the first resonator still in place and it would emit the plasma from its breakout point instead.
