Had to spray the car down after this. Video is sped up through most of it cause I was driving slowly in the early morning (and you can hear the washing machine in the background lol). The antennas on the O3 are still currently one LHCP and one RHCP TrueRC 'Matchstick'. This is just a general driving test where I didn't need to do some side by side comparison of the signal strengths because the difference was obvious enough for me to tell driving around certain objects. Going into the pipe I could maintain about 30Mbps all the way to the end while facing the car and around 10-15Mbps looking a different direction. Using the iFlights it was around 20Mbps tops and I had to be looking at the car. That's not a huge difference but enough to make me stick with the TrueRC pair. In reality I think this kind of boils down to maybe just being able to add a couple extra vehicles in the LOS, all depending on the layout/orientations.
Down in the concrete drainage ditch is where 1.3g struggles also and you can hear it in the live audio. The DJI signal dipped to about 15Mbps at the point of the most obstructions which is the spot I entered, and that's the spot that would give me trouble with the iFlight patches where I was closer to losing signal. That doesn't mean I would actually lose video with the IFlights but I was too sketched out to try. If you're trying to stay as budget as possible I would say the iFlight patches would be adequate. Typically I have to really be looking for differences between antenna performances using the O3 in order to actually say one is better than the other. In this case it was only just slightly more obvious.
