Andaron Saga is a Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones hack by Mangs & some dedicated Fire Emblem enthusiasts. A heart gripping story and high octane gameplay awaits within.

Jakka & pals arrive in Styxia and see that Darius was speaking the truth about the slave caravans. Only one thing to do and that's to rescue every last slave!

Scattered around the map are five slave tents, each guarded by a Voidwalker. Destroying the tent will spit out several green army civilians who will then make the trek towards the green tent in the northeast to escape. You'll need to protect them from the enemy forces as they'll die instantly if something so much as breathes in their direction.

The objective here is to destroy all five slave tents by the end of turn 11, then kill all enemies on the map except for the dancers. Pretty simple objective honestly....and that goes for the secret lunatic objective as well which asks you to save every last green unit civilian. They do not need to escape the map though. Simply being alive will count.

I did throw out some stat boosters prior to the map beginning. Tendaris got some Boots to bring his move up to 6 and an Eternal Seal so he can gain more exp and get that speed up quicker.

The other stat booster handed out? The Solar Brace which gives +5% to all growths. That found a home on Crixus. I feel he has insane potential with his big boy damage passive and he's going to have a very nice chance to gain tons of levels next chapter.

Oh yes, this is a desert map as well. Basically, any mounted units should be left out of your squad unless you have a very specific task for them in mind like with my Caroline here so she could get her A support with Aisha which gives the latter Caroline's Chivalry skill. Potentially -10 damage on a 1 range attack is huge and could make Aisha a very potent melee tank for the endgame.

There is one upside to desert maps though...buried treasure! Same mechanics as in vanilla where Thieves & Rogues have a 100% chance of finding the loot. Everyone else has a (Luck + 1%) chance. Anywhere around the bones you see on the map has something buried underneath. In total, you'll come out of the treasure hunt with a Silver Blade, Holy Sword, Blue Gem, Pet Rock, Hammerne, Nosferatu, and Light Brand. Jesse's along to make grabbing all the loot much less of a hassle...along with one other minor task.

That minor task involves turn 2. Resident wacky villager Natalie returns if you sent her away on 4x. She can be recruited back to the army with Jesse. If he's not around, Jakka can do it as well.

Also incoming on turn 2 is a green unit Dark Sage appearing in the northwest, Varg. Some Brigands think attacking him is a sound idea. Not a good idea when you have a very low level though! Jakka, Angelus, Emilia, or Runa can recruit him. He does join automatically at the end of the chapter though so don't feel pressured into sending someone his way if you don't want to.

In any case, Runa recruits him since I want her to train her Anima rank on the Brigand reinforcements.

Varg's an important ally for a couple reasons. First, if he survives to the end of the game, he can participate in the first bonus map. He's also going to be important next chapter which I'll mention when we get there.

All that being said, Varg's a solid unit. Nearly as bulky as Ashe, if not moreso due to the presence of Nosferatu, and very high offensive stats. Toss in the ability to use staves and anima magic for backup options as well!

Growth wise, Varg only has two truly bad ones in luk & def. The latter can be shored up with a few stat boosters, but you'll likely need to throw him a Holy Symbol to prevent an untimely crit.

Varg's personal skill is the defensive counterpart to Blood Tide, Night Tide. Grants +5 def & res to adjacent units. Very nice for sure!

Back to the map...you may have noticed I haven't really brought up the secret event. That's because Aisha is going to nullify it by rescuing the one who gets affected by it, Ahmed. On turn 4, he decides to bulk up, get increased stats and strong weaponry, then zerg rush the enemies. That wouldn't be so much of a problem if there weren't a bunch of enemy Dancers that can't be killed for reasons I'll mention next video.

As for the map boss Sethos...while he does have brave weaponry, he only shows up with some reinforcements when you take out the southwestern most slave tent. Little did he know he was going to get spawn killed instantly on arrival!

Finally, closing out this video by mentioning the shops and the two visitable villages. The Armory has Scimitars which are high accuracy swords that boost sword exp when used so you'll want to grab several of them. The two villages on the map have a Hammerne from the western village and a Flame Sword from the eastern one.

More next time!
