Exit Fate is a role playing game made in RPGMaker by SCF. With 75 characters to recruit, a mixture of typical turn based combat and war battles, and an engaging story, the result is a very Suikoden-esque game.

The latest version of the game can always be found here:

Back on Mt. Bosch in Grunthall to visit the home of one Major Gunwood....although the man of the hour says he's long left the army upon answering the door and would rather be called by his real first name, Bast.

Inside his hut, Daniel mentions how Kirgard has captured Mayfall City, but Bast is rather amused when Daniel tells him exactly who's in charge of the operation, Keyser.

In a rather lengthy flashback, Bast mentions how, as a young soldier, managed to outsmart the so called man who has a plan for everything. Keyser accounting for every angle of a plan is both his greatest strength and his biggest weakness.

After the flashback, Bast is more than willing to put Keyser in his place once again, but he'll be traveling incognito to Elysium Castle so as to keep Keyser from knowing that Bast is back in action once more.

One minor trip to Matrech to pickup Erin later, the team meets up with Bast at the meeting hall. The briefing details everything related to the capture of Mayfall thus far, including the fact Kirgard's decided to go back and occupy Amen Corner for good.

One interesting fact though comes out of this briefing...it turns out the mayor of Blackwater, Shiro, has been placed under house arrest. Bast has an idea of the first move to make and begins doing what he does best by gathering information to formulate into a plan. He wants everyone to return tomorrow morning and he'll have his plan ready to go.

Before returning to Daniel's room, you're going to want to head to the barracks located through the hallway west of the save point. When you get there, take the staircase down into a training hall that's gotten a rather upbeat individual since talking to Bast...Fitch from Alfheim. Turns out the spunky little kid couldn't stay still at home and REALLY wants to stay at Daniel's castle. Daniel agrees just to stop Fitch from being so annoying about it and he joins permanently. Fitch is really easy to miss here because there's no reason to mess around in the barracks area.

In Daniel's room, he & Ayara have a conversation where Daniel's gaps in his memory show before the man turns in for the night.

In the morning, head to the meeting hall where Bast describes his grand plan. Keyser's biggest weakness is, as mentioned before, his greatest strength. He can account for every angle of a potential plan or outcome, but if someone pulls off a task nobody would even dare think to try, he'll start to begin doubting himself.

That plan? It begins by heading to Blackwater via Sally's ship to rescue Shiro. Daniel gets to lead the mission with Ayara tagging along as well. The rest of the team is up to you to decide.

Next time, a rescue mission begins.
