This song was first released by Albert on Italy’s Time label in 1986. It was Albert’s fourth single in his native Italy; his first being “Turbo Diesel”, which reached #22 in 1984.
“For Your Love” didn’t chart in either Italy or Germany but Sweden’s Beat Box label picked it up for a remix by Fredrik Ramel. Beat Box was a label set up by Vinyl Mania, a record shop in the center of Stockholm, Sweden. Fredrik Ramel was a co-owner as well as a remix specialist. Another of his efforts was a remix of Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita” for Lucia in 1986.
