Formed by former Weezer bass player, Matt Sharp, the Rentals released their debut album, “The Return Of The Rentals” in 1995. The album included the single, “Friends Of P.”, which made it to #82 on the Hot-100.
A second album, “Seven More Minutes” followed before the band partied ways in 1999. However, they reformed in 2005 and, albeit with changing lineups, they have been active on record and with live performances since.
