The group was formed at the instigation of Dean Torrence, who wanted to put a touring band together following the success of the Jan & Dean biopic, “Dead Man’s Curve”
Many famous Beach Boys and Jan & Dean associates passed through the ranks throughout the band’s existence. The earliest ensemble – heard on this recording – comprised Jim Armstrong, Chris Farmer, Hal Rappleyea, Sterling Smith and Mark Ward.
“She Loves The Radio” was written by Franklin Micare, who had an album and a few singles released on Private Stock in the late 70s.
