The weather is so nice we are still working outside on the garden railroad! As we were running trains outside it occurred to us that there are still fun things to build at the Village of Grapevine!
Yes, we said we were done for 2024, and well.. a gazebo jumped off the page at eBay. Yet another Burwood wall decoration from the 1970s. And it seemed it would look right at home behind the haberdashery. I a little park at the end of the path through the shrubbery. So let the project begin!
Then another idea, a large platform between the tracks at the depot, such that the village has more depth and looses its flat feel. AND it's more accurate, a real depot would require a platform on the far track too.
