One question often asked around the Ogden Union Depot and Train show is, "What's happening with 223?" Well, now we finally know!
The locomotive restoration stalled several years ago and Ogden told the group to find a new place for the locomotive. Which is all in parts. Several ideas were expressed, all requiring the locomotive to move permanently to Colorado.
And at last a group has taken over the project and are moving the locomotive to Durango Colorado where it will be returned to operating condition and operated on several Colorado narrow gauge railroads.
