In Bulgaria it is not that uncommon to see more than 2 locomotives on a freight train. There are definitely heavy trains on routes involving steep climbs that require the power of even 3 locomotives. But some private carriers regularly use their regular trains to redistribute and transport locomotives from one location to another, creating by this way interesting views for the trainspotters. In the video, you will be able to see the movement of international freight train 49069 Dimitrovgrad (Serbia) - Kapikule (Turkey), captured near Sofia with a total of 4 electric locomotives Siemens ES64U2 "Taurus" of the Austrian national carrier ÖBB (registered as Rail Cargo Carrier in Bulgaria) on a sunny but cold winter day of 2025. Of course, according to the regulations, only 2 of the locomotives can participate in the servicing of the train. But nevertheless, this red beauty multiplied by 4 on a long freight train is always an impressive sight!

В България не е чак толкова рядко срещана гледка да се видят повече от 2 локомотива на товарен влак. Определено има тежки влакове движещи се по маршрути, включващи стръмни изкачвания, които се нуждаят дори от 3 локомотива. Но някои частни превозвачи редовно използват редовните си влакове за преразпределяне и отвозване на локомотиви от една локация на друга и създавайки по този начин интересни гледки за трейнспотърите и любителите на влакове. Във видеото ще може да видите движението на МДТВ 49069 Димитровград ЖС - Капъкуле край София с общо 4 електрически локомотива Сименс ES64U2 "Таурус" на австрийските железници (ÖBB) в един слънчев но студен февруарски ден. Разбира се, съгласно правилниците само 2 от локомотивите може да участват в тегленето на влака. Но въпреки това този червен красавец умножен по 4 на дълъг товарен влак винаги е впечатляваща гледка!
