Hello everyone once again to another car commercial of the past! In today's commercial, we have the 2001 Honda Civic featured, in a rather funny little commercial. Lets get into specifications about the Civic shall we?
The base and sole engine for the Civic was a 1.7 Litre, Inline 4 cylinder engine that produced 115 Horsepower at 6,100 RPM with 110 FT-LB of torque at 4,500 RPM.
A 5 speed manual transmission was standard on the Civic, while the 4 speed automatic was optional.
The drivetype came only in Front Wheel Drive.
The Civic came in 2 body styles; a sporty 2 door coupe, or a 4 door sedan. Curb weight for the coupe came in at 2,405 LBs. Expect to add on 100-500 LBs more to the curb weight if options are added and/or body style is changed to a 4 door.
The base price for the 2 door Civic coupe was $12,760 in 2001, adjusting to $16,801 in 2016.
