Hello everyone once again to another car commercial of the past! In today's commercial, we have the very uniquely styled 1988 Subaru XT6 featured. Lets get into specifications of the XT6 shall we?
When the XT6 was launched in 1988, the XT6 had certainly stood out among it's competitors with its unique exterior look, and "Fighter Jet" interior styling look as well.
The sole engine for the X16 was a 2.7 Liter, Flat 6 cylinder, SOHC, multi point electronically fuel injected engine that produced 145 Horsepower. A more powerful powerplant would have been ideal as an option.
The layout for the base XT6 was a Front Engine, Front Wheel Drive configuration, with a Four Wheel Drive layout being available as an option.
A 5 speed manual was the standard on all XT6's, while a 4 speed automatic was offered as an optional transmission choice.
If you wanted a unique, stylish 2 door sport compact coupe with a Japanese nameplate in 1988, then the Subaru XT6 was the vehicle for you.
