Hello and welcome to another car commercial of the past. Here in today's car commercial, we have a commercial featuring the 1988 Nissan Sentra.
The Nissan Sentra had only one engine available for 1988, which was the 1.6 Liter, Single Overhead Camshaft, Inline Four Cylinder engine that produced 90 Horsepower at 6000 RPM in Front Wheel Drive layout. Fuel Mileage for the Sentra when equipped with this only engine choice was a good 24 MPG City, and 33 MPG highway.
The Nissan Sentra came in three body styles in 1988; a 2 door coupe, a 4 door sedan, and a 4 door wagon hatchback style.
There were 3 transmission choices for 1988; a 4 speed manual, a 5 speed manual and 3 speed automatic transmission. The 4 speed manual was the base transmission for the Sentra, making the 5 speed manual and 3 speed automatic transmission as options on the base Sentra.
