Aylin Kılıç, who won first place in the 19th International Pera Piano Festival and Sun Artist music competitions with her “perfect pitch,” looks up to renowned pianists Fazıl Say, Gülsin Onay, and İdil Biret as examples to promote Turkey's cultural values and musical richness to the world.
Kılıç, who began playing the piano at the age of 5 in Kocaeli and was identified as having perfect pitch (the ability to recognize a note without reference to another note) through tests conducted at the recommendation of her music teacher, won first place at the 19th International Pera Piano Festival and Sun Artist music competitions this year.
Kılıç, who is continuing his education at the Istanbul University State Conservatory, aims to join the Presidential Symphony Orchestra and introduce Turkey's culture and musical richness to the world.
