Day 6
Some evil trains have started to appear in the tracks! It's a miracle I was able to dodge them. Thankfully we were able to make it to the Tower of Spirits in one piece. We were so excited to tell Anjean what we did. She congratulated us and confirmed that more of the Tower of Spirits had been restored. She believes another rail map is on that floor.
It was a long climb up those stairs, but I made it. Zelda's lucky she can just float to the top. This floor was very hot. There were pools of lava everywhere. Luckily all the Tears of Light were nowhere near the lava. After grabbing them, I hit a phantom and Zelda possessed it. She noticed that other phantoms could walk across the lava. She wanted to help me get across but wasn't sure how. I told her to hold her shield above her head.
I hopped on top of the shield and steadied myself. Zelda loved the idea and pressed forward. There were some new monsters here as well. There were these small pig creatures on living statues that kept bothering us, but I was able to get those pig creatures away with the whirlwind. With the pigs gone, the living statue exploded. I guess they need those to move?
Anyway, we eventually made it to the top of this floor and found the snow rail map. I heard more tracks appear. These must lead into the Snow Realm to the north. I've never been up there, but I have seen some of the creatures that live there who like to travel down here. I think Alfonzo called them Anouki.
Anjean wished us luck on our travels to the Snow Realm. She told us to find Steem, the Lokomo who lives in the Snow Sanctuary. He'll be able to lead us to the next temple. Anjean also told us to be careful since the Snow Realm has been covered by a massive blizzard.
Well, we didn't get far because these weird monsters kept ramming the train! They weren't scared by the whistle at all. We ended up stopping at Castle Town. I found out that Alfonzo had actually recovered and wanted to see me. He was still at the infirmary inside the castle.
Alfonzo asked where I had been and what happened. I knew he would think I was crazy, but I had to tell him the truth. I don't know why he believed me, but he did. Alfonzo told me that he'd be able to hook up a cannon to my train, but we'd have to go back to Aboda. Hopefully those monsters are gone now.
