It's a paradox of our times: we extend kindness and compassion to others effortlessly, yet struggle to offer the same to ourselves. We're quick to criticize, slow to forgive. Our inner voice turns into a drill sergeant, barking insults at every mistake.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. What you need is a change of perspective. Suppose someone you loved came to you with their problems; would you be so harsh to them? Would you shout insults at them? Probably not, right?

We're champions at pep-talking our besties through breakups, offering sage advice for career roadblocks, and celebrating their wins like they're our own. So, why not do the same for ourselves?

Treat yourself as you would treat your best-friend! Recognize your efforts, big and small. Celebrate your victories, no matter how seemingly insignificant. And most importantly, remember that mistakes are inevitable – they're part of the beautiful, messy journey of being human.

So ditch the inner critic and embrace the ultimate BFF – yourself.
