My 'Folky' style take on a song that I think is brilliant. In my opinion John Lennon's best.
The powerfully poignant and hard hitting lyrics of Lennon's song, could have been written yesterday.I'm sure it's the same the world over, but here in Britain too many are having to scrape the barrel to put a meal on the table and struggling to live with fuel costs soaring and food prices at an all time high.Time's are tough. This will certainly be one of the worst' Winter's of our discontent' ahead to deal with, and I wonder if in our class ridden society, if those at the bottom shall ever be able rise again..
I didn't want to change the lyrics here. In my opinion the use of the F word is a necessary part of this song...
