I'm not sure if this is an authentic traditional folk song , but it was used on the sound track for TV series Poldark adapted from the novels by Winston Graham, set in 18th Century , tin mining Cornwall , and sung by leading lady, Eleanor Tomlinson (Demelza). The translation of Cornish, Medhel an Gwyns is 'Soft is the wind'. I do know that Anne Dudley, who was the BBC music producer for the series,added the music to this, and she did a lot of research into old Cornish songs for the shows.
