Back to my love of traditional folk today..I was planting some thyme in pots earlier, and it reminded me of this recording I did a few years ago..
Let No Man Steal Your Thyme is a traditional British and Irish folk ballad that uses botanical and other symbolism to warn young women of the dangers in taking a false lover.This song was featured in the 2015 remake of the film Far From The Madding Crowd(Thomas Hardy Novel), and sung by Carey Mulligan:)
