This is a first version of a holder that I will make much use of! Although there are going to be some changes made along the way...after one session with this one I discovered a few shortcomings which I have to figure out how to deal with. The basic design is workable and I think will in the long run be a very handy product.
So I guess this is sort of a how you Might do... how to!
As much fun as this was to make... the Sanding with an Irish Last Name was even more fun... the sad part is that I haven't been able to re-find the video that Brendan made where he asked turners to show more of their sanding... and in the same video warned us of the dangers of saying that you could hear wood talk! Well as I watched things began to formulate in my mind... and that is always a dangerous thing!!
I turned that into a little Colon Cancer Awareness thought... not to drive up viewers... but just to make people stop and think just for a moment... I know what my reaction would have been... and I don't expect this to have anymore impact than that! Who knows maybe one person might look into it more and as a result not have to do these treatments! Glad the treatments are available... don't get me wrong...but I can sure think of better ways of spending time!
Again my apologies to all that comments that I haven't replied to... repetitive mind numbers is more of what I spend my days with... I can watch Nature and History shows all day and I can play Solitaire ... no problem... but put something in front of me that requires that I pay attention and make a choice about something... and I spend the next hour trying to decide what it was I was trying to decide in the first place!
Soon as may be I will be back with a follow up.. of sorts... and we will see whats happening then!
