100 already! Seems like only a couple of months ago that I put my first T T W video up! And I think I am even more impressed that there were a hundred different things you could make on the lathe! I know there has been some overlapping of projects that are probably similar and I would imagine that will happen in the next 100 as well!
Like I said in the video ... UFOs are a pretty common thing in my shop, so it was nice to be able to work on one that stayed put for a little bit. I’m not sure which is going to be best... if I left more of the plastic tea light housing in place I could probably hollow out the vessel more... and maybe even make more holes for the light to shine through as well! The other way is to remove the plastic and turn a recess; as you need something to keep the switch in place. I would imagine a ¼” lip should be enough... but I’ll have to see! Another thought here too... is to make them smaller... you may not get the light in it... but it also doesn’t become a dangerous projectile down the road!
Much of what I do here these days is learning. I have found that there are different ways of doing things which lead to different ways of coping. Each video has taught me more; both in the turning and the video making... and for that I would like to thank all of you who have given me an outlet for my endeavours! And even more... when things go out of control ... and stuff doesn’t end up the way it did... it’s those people who rally and support and make a huge difference in a life!
