Hello:
This is my first video featuring another channel. It has been a thing amongst we YouTubers that liking and leaving comments are a good way for us to judge how we are doing... but then there is the other guy who is just starting off... if we can give them a nudge and help them find an audience... well why not?
If you were to like and subscribe to them... and that made it so that they could grow... there would be that much more information available to all of us!
And then there are the established channels... those who already have a lot to share... well maybe I have seen one that you haven't... That could make a new favorite for you!
There are all kinds of reasons to share these videos and the biggest one ... is that these people have put many hours into producing a quality video.... and they deserve to have people watching!
This video takes a piece of, what is probably either Fir or Hemlock, where it has grown into an elbow! I had at first thought that I would put the worm screw into the inside of the elbow, but after looking at it decided that I should come in from the side.
So that meant some extra work trying to get the damage I had done out of the way! The wood is very sappy and tears out really easily... I have found that even sanding it on the lathe wasn't enough... while this has been uploading (and remember there are two versions! Texted and non!) I have been hand sanding!! So far I think it has been 2 1/2 hours! Looking better and better all the time!
