You have to turn it around?
Amazing what you can learn from watching YouTube videos!

I got to watch this one first!
If these had a practical use I would consider trying more like it!
As it is... it was a valiant attempt to bend wood!
I had at one point thought that it might look cool if it was a finger squashing everything...
But then remembered that you squash with the other end!
And seeing as I was getting so good at sanding...

I decided to sand that away!
Like I said, I’m not sure about the species of wood...
It looks like cedar but has no smell and seems to be a fair bit harder too!
But it does react to shellac in the same way!
I am sure that there will be repercussions from my method of holding things put!

But in my own defence...
I would like to point out that the only time it came off the lather...
And very gracefully done...
Was when it was being held in the chuck!
It’s not right...
But I’m just sayin’
Not too long after I shot the outdoor scene...
It did start raining....
So I lucked out with the timing on that one!
I certainly have to do something about the audio though!
And as I sit here and write this I am wondering if my cell phone might have a way of making thinks work?
It’s getting pretty old now so I don’t know...
I’ll have to look ( or listen) into it!
You see... the thinking processes never stop!
They don’t always work...
But they keep on ticking!
Those stumps behind me were ones that would have been cut down in either the late 1800s or the early 1900s. They didn’t do the same kind of harvesting that is done today...
Now it’s “get as much as you can get out of each tree and then we will replant.”
Then was a matter of getting the big stuff out and leave the stumps!
Well those two are prime examples of Nature’s replanting program!
Those regrowths are probably 150 to 200 feet tall now!
Well here is hoping that your days are filled with light and health.
