A Bat Chain
It could be a place to park the keys for the Bat Mobile or it could be another way of hitting the keys out of the park!
Either way.. they are fun to make and will be enjoyed by any baseball fan!
On half of the ones I make, I use a fine tip felt pen and write Shirleyville Slugger on the bat. They are not as famous as the Louisville Slugger.... but unless the town you live in isn’t already a “ville” you should be able to make it work for you too! Although Shirleyvilleville has a kind of ring to it!
So you saw there that I tried almost all my tools for this...just so nobody gets the idea that you need to use this or that tool! These are just fun and you can use whatever takes your fancy! But you would have also noticed that in the second turning ... it was mostly the roughing gouge! Funny how turning can go so much faster when you are not talking!
