I guess that now I’ve said I “do” this I had better “do” it ... huh?
Well here is a thank you to one of you... and if your name is Ron too... well thank you anyway! But Ron knows who he is and I do hope he and his wife enjoy their Earthquake detector for many years to come! I had a few issues along the way ... things like the ball at the top of the finial.... it was supposed to be the same wood ... but I made three balls from that and they all broke... so I went for a piece of the base! I think it works well! My camera angles for the base are a little lacking but at least it shows the top... the bottom I made a smooth dish like shape... I suppose you could turn it over and use it that way up if you got tired of it this way! All in all... a very fun project!
So the end of another pallet season has arrived... I had a lot of fun with it and I’m sad to see it go... and there were a lot of really good entries into the challenge! I think my favorite was the Barbie picnic table! I really hope the randomizer picks the other people who entered! I think they all deserved to win! Here is a link to Cedric’s entry

but I don’t believe that Cedric should be eligible for any prizes as I am sure there must be a conflict of interest! How much wood could a wood bear turn if a wood bear could turn wood? But I think that if his name is drawn he should forfeit his draw to the next person called!
Today also marked the end of my market season! I will miss that... it has been nice to connect with the people. Do you know that this summer alone I had three people at the market, who are subscribers! I live in a community of 600 people! One knew I was there. But the others when they saw my T.T.W apron, or they saw Cedric, -because he has to come with me everywhere I go!- and said “Hey! I know you! I watch your channel!” -Thank you Sarah- That is an awfully nice feeling! Much the same as how now I am starting to get people asking for advice in the comments! Me!! I have a tough time getting used to that! But... I guess I have asked enough questions over the years that I can start passing along some of the answers that I have received!
I am interested to see what kind of response I get for project ideas... I am somewhat limited as to what I can do simply because of the size of my shop... 91sq feet... sort of has its own limitations! But I have no doubt that any idea will be food for thought! And you see it came to my mind that all these videos I have done... are just what I had seen somewhere or what I had need of at that time... of course those kind of projects are still going to happen on a regular basis as there is so much in life that we need ... that is round! But... I had to wonder if that was the kind of thing you wanted to see. I mean... its all well and fine for me to say ... “This is what you are going to see today!” Of course if it’s not what you want to see... then you are not likely to watch!
I am on the verge... at least I feel like I am... of figuring out the Facebook thing and am working on the best ways of going about a website! All things that I should have done a long time ago! Last time I checked, I had 4 shy of 4000 subscribers and I should be able to offer these features to you. To add ways that, what I have learned over the years might be of a benefit to someone who hasn’t asked those questions yet! Oh! And bear in mind that my verges... may still take a couple of months! But it will happen!
