The Mad Hatter's Fir Hat
This is an experiment in working with dry Fir... Unlike the other hats I have done, which have been green and tended to warp nicely after turning... this one just stays the way it was turned!
It could be used for a decorative touch to a Teddy Bear or it could be used as a pencil pot... It is actually amazing how many ways these can be used...
Some day I am going to have to try a full sized one!
