Welcome to the Tiny Trailer Workshop (just ‘cause I didn’t get it in, in the video!)
Now I understand that this isn’t wood turning.... but... the wood is round... maybe that will help! And then of course there is the matter of keeping the rain out of the shop!
I know someone who is remodeling a log house... and since some time in the 70’s these hemlock poles have been nailed to the inside walls to hold the chinking in place. The cement type finish that they have chosen certainly makes for a different look. But personally even though it is not my place... I would have gone with the poles! But then I wouldn’t have a framework of the same solidity!
My first attempt here left the tarp loose enough that all I ended up doing was creating large pools of water on the roof! Fortunately I was able to lift the one side and spill the water away... and that was where I came up with plan 2... and then plan 3... which incorporated the sheet metal siding. The addition of which was invaluable! I’m not sure how it will handle a big wind but I guess we will find out eventually!
The making of this video and the new intro have taken a long time here... at 13 seconds the intro took 4 days to get to the point where it is now... I would imagine that there will be changes to it in the future as I learn more trick and techniques! And the video took another 6 days! Little things that just keep trying to bite you... the first plane that goes through.... sounds just fine on my computer... render it and it disappears! I tried many ways of dealing with it so now.... you will just have to imagine that a plane makes a sound as it passes overhead! My forays into green screening led to some interesting problems as well... the video clips that I used had to be cropped to make it so just the green screened area showed and it all looked pretty good... then you render it into a movie and I was cut off at the shoulders in each of them! Of course I assumed that it was something that I did so I went back and did it again... another two hours... only to find that it did the same thing! I guess I could have left it with me standing there with no head... the audio was just fine so you wouldn’t have had problems there!
Then of course there is the chemo brain that one develops after treatment! Things that I did yesterday and had no problem doing... now become mysteries as to what you do next! I think it is probably a good thing to try and keep the brain stimulated as much as can be... and this has certainly done it! After the first day I seemed to be remembering things better... maybe not properly... but better! As time rolls on the effects wear off somewhat and I can continue much as before! And as each time seems to be different we will just have to wait and see what the next one is like!
Something else that didn’t get in the video was ... that I hope to see you all again next time!
