In this video I park up at Scales and take the direct route to summit Blencathra, beautiful views all around at the top, but the weather was very changeable, and with the wind getting stronger I decide to head lower down to camp, I had to drop lower than I really wanted to pitch up, and I started to double guess my decision, maybe I should have pitched at the top after all?
