A White-footed Woods Mosquito (Psorophora ferox) expels tiny droplets of excess liquid from her rear end after a blood meal at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, in Houston, TX, USA. (She was perched on this leaf when I am across her. I'm not sure where exactly she got her meal from, but it could have been from me.)
