An Eastern Kingbird (Tyrannus tyrannus) perches in a tree along the canal at Sheldon Lake State Park, in Houston, TX, USA. A Halloween Pennant dragonfly (Celithemis eponina) flies by and seems to try to perch on the Kingbird. The Kingbird pecks at the dragonfly, but the dragonfly gets away, and the Kingbird doesn't seem hungry enough to give chase.
