My submission for the Hardware Jams “Bass Face” Weekend Challenge.
My bass face is definitely triggered by dirty dubstep, so for this challenge it was time to go dark and heavy. I patched up a dirty and distorted bass using the Tabor and went from there. Pairing this with some distorted samples and another overdriven bass resulted in this jam. I may have gone a bit bass heavy, but hey that was the challenge.
This week’s challenge prompt:
Hello Jammers! This weekend’s challenge will be a challenge for your neighbors too! I want you to make a jam that will trigger our BASSFACES on! Blast those low ends and make the walls move.
Always Learning

I'm a strong believer in continuous improvement and always trying to learn something new. This week I experimented with rhythmically gating the Tabor and also sending the trigger output to the envelope of a separate sub oscillator. Overall I was pleased with the dirty bass sound this created.
My DIY Eurorack Synth Rules

I aim to meet the following criteria when adding modules to my synth:
◦ I must have constructed it.
This can be a kit or from scratch but I must have soldered it
◦ The audio signal path should be analog.
I'm trying to avoid digital modules so I can learn more about analog electronics
◦ Learn something new
Try to learn something while constructing the module. Learn about the circuits, experiment with different signal processing options. Be creative.
◦ Have fun
