Hello Marion County citizens, I’m your Sheriff, Billy Woods. And it’s time for Wanted by Woods Wednesday! Today, we are looking for 34-year-old Kyle Mitchum. Kyle had been out of jail on bond for grand theft auto and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. But, while out on bond, Kyle has continued his criminal ways and a felony commit order was issued for him that revoked his bond.
Kyle, while you were out on bond awaiting trial, you came to the Marion County Courthouse to attend one of your court hearings. While the judge was considering a request from prosecutors to revoke your bond because you’re STILL committing crimes, you walked out of the courtroom for a “smoke break” and never returned. Kyle, it looks like you wanted my undivided attention. Man up and turn yourself in!!
Citizens, if Kyle doesn’t do the right thing, we are going to need your help locating him. If you have any information on Kyle’s whereabouts, please call the Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP and reference 18-33 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward!
