“DENNIS THE MENACE”
Hello Marion County citizens, I’m your Sheriff, Billy Woods. And yes, it is Wanted by Woods Wednesday! Today, we are looking for 32-year-old Dennis Waters, who has felony warrants for Burglary of a Dwelling, Grand Theft and Dealing in Stolen Property.
Dennis, you went into someone else’s home off of Cedar Trace Way and stole their electronics, clothes and lawn equipment. You then sold the victim’s lawn mower that you stole to someone on Letgo.com…and that someone did the right thing and double checked with us to see if it was stolen or not…and it was. Your co-horts have even identified you as the suspect from a store’s surveillance video. Dennis, you sure are a menace and you’ve been caught red-handed. Take responsibility for what you’ve done and turn yourself in today.
Citizens, if Dennis doesn’t do the right thing, we are going to need your help locating him. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP and reference 18-89 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward!
