Alright we are back! On Mondays and Fridays we will be bringing you a rundown of what happened here in Marion County.

Let’s get started: Someone entered a vehicle parked at home in the 12,300 block of Southeast 60th Ave and stole a firearm.

K-9 Deputy Fretts conducted a traffic stop on a silver Ford Explorer in the 1700 block of Southeast Lake Weir Avenue. The driver, Dadron Smith was arrested for an active warrant for Grand Theft. Search of the vehicle resulted in Smith also being charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Gold Star Hotel.

Someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the 14,300 block of Southwest 42nd Terrace Road and stole a tablet, jewelry and cash.

Multiple units responded to 17,300 block of Southeast 95th Street Road in reference two victims being shot while driving in the area. While investigating the incident, William Maynard Martin III arrived at the location advising he had shot the victims with a .410 gauge shotgun because the victims was speeding and revving their vehicle’s engine. The victims’ wounds were non-life threatening. Martin was arrested and transported to the Gold Star Hotel.
