Hello Marion County citizens, I’m your Sheriff, Billy Woods. And yes, it is Wanted by Woods! Today, we are looking for 21-year-old Roger Andrew Spruill, who has felony warrants for Grand Theft, Organized Fraud and Uttering a Forged Check.
Roger, who are you to steal from my hard working citizens here in Marion County? You stole at least 22 checks from individuals in the Southwest and Dunnellon areas and cashed them after forging their signatures. You needed to go and get a job and put in an honest day’s work to get paid not steal from my citizens. Now Roger, you need to do the right thing and turn yourself in, because my citizens…the ones you stole from and the ones who don’t want to be stolen from, are going to be looking for you.
Citizens, if Roger does not do the right thing, we are going to need your help locating him. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP and reference 18-60 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward!
