Hello Marion County citizens, I’m your Sheriff, Billy Woods. And yes, today is Wanted by Woods Wednesday. We are looking for 29 year old Stephen Edward Mattingly. Who has a felony warrant for Violation of Domestic Violence Injunction and Driving while License Suspended.
Stephen, after being served with a Domestic Violence injunction, you packed up your belongings and left. What I don’t understand Stephen is why you came back to the house you were ordered by the courts to stay away from? And then when you saw Detective Rasnick arrive, you fled. Stephen I have plenty of room for you here at the Gold Star Hotel, why don’t you come here? Do the right thing Stephen and turn yourself in.
Citizens, if Stephen doesn’t do the right thing, we are going to need your help. If you have any information on Stephen’s whereabouts, please call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP and reference 17-138 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward!
