Episode 4 of the series where we try to discover what the folks who work in whisky enjoy in their down time. We’ll also hopefully enjoy a little behind-the-scenes and uncovering what makes them tick, and share a few truths to get to know the faces behind the brands a little better.
These sessions have very little to do with the companies these guests work for, and everything to do with the people themselves.
This time around I'm excited to hang out with one of the warmest and friendliest faces in whisky; super human Shilton Almeida.
He'll join as I ask him what his picks would be for his reliable Permashelf, his easy Crowd Pleaser, his self-indulgent Decadent Pour, his generous VIP pour and of course his powerful Attention Grabber. As we walk though his five picks I'll also be asking him a series of ad hoc True or False "Shilton facts".
These hang outs are always a pleasure and I know I've been slow in working through them, but they happen when they happen, and this is one to look forward to.
