I'm not sure there needs to be an update of this every year, but when there's been a lot of changes in whisky choice, it would be good to keep it up-to-date.
Maybe you remember the idea of the Permashelf: it's a shelf of bottles we love enough - and are available enough - for us to replace them when they're depleted. Old school style. But there are restrictions: they need to be available core range products with good availability and affordability.
And the shelf only holds ten.
