There is much to be said about 'fate' & its subtle presence in our everyday. It can appear so insignificantly when we locate a misplaced item, recall a piece of lost information OR when we cross paths with individuals who will unknowingly change our lives forever; and the latter is when fate makes it's presence really known! I am sure each of us can attest to meeting someone by happenstance & fallen in love OR landed that promising job,....OR built an undeniable chemistry (& brotherhood) within a band. And, the TRUE beauty of it ALL lies in the fact that none of it was contrived. I've been working with bands long enough to see that enigmatic karma quite easily & after hearing their story you too will see that San Antonio's, Voltreus is not only a testament to the power of fate, but also its undeniable ramifications. While the band is still short lived releasing their debut EP, 'Solace' back in 2021, they have since built an unshakable foundation off a string of NEW singles, devastating live shows & their meticulous backend strategy to maintain & strengthen their presence in the Texas scene. BUT what makes Voltreus stand out from the pack is their already established, one-of-a-kind sound. With their hooky power riffs, melodic choruses & vocalist, Tyler Groshon's unique (& varied) growl, Voltreus' fan base continues to grow & become more dedicated as the year progresses. SO, on February 17th, 2023 I took the opportunity to have the band over to the RMW Studio to discuss it ALL, while we are still in the 1st quarter of the year. In the interview below you will see us discuss the following: the formation/evolution of the band, the band's new songs (& influences), recording with SA producers, how they plan to market the band, making videos, touring plans & much more!
