I was ELATED to catch up with one of my FAVE San Antonio bands in VOLTREUS at the PLAY IT FORWARD Fest! Born in late 2019 - I have had the pleasure of watching these young men mature as people & develop as metal musicians. Now, in 2026 they have become of the city's BEST - WINNING last year's 'Battle for Wacken' with their crushing blend of progressive metalcore,...pairing intricate riffs, punishing rhythms and aggressive vocals with a dark, theatrical stage presence.
